Aerial conditioning provides more spinal traction more strength building in the core than many static forms of exercise. Ones main focus in this art form is not only to laugh and relive a childlike joy of play but to build strength in our body by understanding how a long hollow frame allows for the tension from the joints to be relieved as we hold our weight in our hands/engage our core and hang in a flat back rolled back shoulder position. Areas of strength obtained are through hip openings and surrendering to the tension play of weight distribution.... it's hard to put into words exactly what toning and gyro kinesis is experienced. all I can say is that it brings much joy to any and all and perseverance and patience to ones ability as any flow art asks.
